Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior confirmed that his compatriot and Saudi Al Hilal player Neymar Junior is his role model.

Vinicius had celebrated in the style of Neymar during the victory against Paraguay 4-1, in the second round of the group stage of the Copa America 2024.

Neymar, who was in the stands, was keen to applaud Vinicius, after scoring the third goal for the Seleção.

Vinicius posted a picture of himself and Neymar celebrating in the same way and wrote: “My role model.”

Vinicius celebrated in the style of Neymar by placing his hands on his head and sticking out his tongue, knowing that Neymar has been absent from the field for a long time due to injury.
